PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate): a semi-crystalline polymer belonging to the polyester family, with good chemical resistance. It differs from other polymers due to its high electrical characteristics (excellent resistance to the passage of electric currents) and for its high resistance to thermal oxidation (operating temperature). These characteristics are maintained even at temperatures that reach 135°C, therefore at these thermal values these polymers do not “age” and do not degrade.
As with all polyesters, the dehumidification process of the granule before transformation is fundamental.
